JPAC Porcelain Painting Fair 2022

About Exhibition of Works
Exhibition theme: There is no set theme.
How to participate in the exhibition: You may enter your work in either (1) or (2) below.
You may submit up to two works in total.
Please refer to the attached file "JPAC2022 Exhibition Guideline" and submit your work in accordance with the guideline.
(1) Exhibition of works at the venue (same as before): Single or set works based on a single theme that can fit within 60 x 60 cm. The entry fee is 3000 yen.
     As a general rule, you are responsible for carrying in and out your own items. If you have some reasons and would like us to do it for you, please contact us.
(2) Exhibition with photos of works (For those who cannot come to the exhibition): Single or set works based on a single theme. The entry fee is 1500 yen.
     Please send one to three photos per work to JPAC (jpacmember@gmail.com) by March 31st.
     The photos you send us will be edited into a video slide show that will be shown at the venue.
   Please send photos with a quality of at least 1000 pixels.
Works and photos of the exhibits will be compiled into a photo book and sent to all exhibitors at a later date.
If you live overseas, the shipping fee will be charged.
The exhibitors who came to the venue will receive a shopping coupon worth 300 yen to be used at the JPAC booth.
If you wish to see a demonstration, you will be given priority admission each session.
Demonstrations (10:15 - 15:45, 5 times in total)
Free admission for members only.
Non-members are welcome to attend for 1000 yen per session only if there are empty seats 5 minutes before the start of the demonstration.
Members will be able to watch the demos live via ZOOM at the same time.
No recording will be made for later delivery.
1) 10:15 - 11:00  “Blue and White Porcelain with Special Techniques" by Taeko Arisaka
2) 11:15 - 12:00  "Hints and Brushwork for Painting Various Roses” by Satomi Totten
3) 13:00 - 13:45  “Enjoying the texture of Glitter Relief” by Rumi Agawa
4) 14:00 - 14:45  “Various expressions using texture paste by Mieko Ito,
5) 15:00 - 15:45  "How to paint stones (marble, malachite, granite)” by Rie Hara
The number of participants will be limited to about 20-25 (depending on the situation).
All participants will be asked to cooperate with social distance.
Seating will be changed each session.
Booths
If you would like to sell your products at the booth, please let JPAC (jpacmember@gmail.com) know so that we can send you "Booth Holder Application Guidelines” separately.
All visitors are welcome to shop at the booth on the day of the event.
Banquet
18:00 - 20:00 at the same venue after the "JPAC Porcelain Painting Fair" on the day.
Seated Western-style dinner 7,500 yen (including soft drinks, beer and wine).
Family members and companions are also welcome to join.
 
Registration
An application form will be sent to you by another e-mail. Please fill it out and return it to us by Thursday, March 31 2022.
Payment
PayPal will send you an invoice by the end of March, so please pay by April 15th, 2022.

Guideline for exhibited works at “JPAC Porcelain Painting Fair 2022”

(including exhibition by photos)


Please confirm the following rules before submitting your works.
There is no theme for this year's fair, so please submit works on any theme.


Exhibition Guideline (including exhibition by photos)
The works must be hand-painted and meet the following rules.
(1) The works must be completed by the exhibitor's own ability.
(2) The works studied (made from copies of designs provided at classes, seminars, etc.) are
not allowed.
(3) It is not allowed to use the composition of existing artworks as the main motif, which
violates copyright.
(4) If you have appropriated the composition of an antique work that does not have a
copyright, please attach a note stating the source of the work to the extent that it is clear
at the time of submission. If the work is to be exhibited using photos, please notify us via e-
mail.
(5) Exhibiting works that have been previously published by the exhibitor is acceptable.
(6) The use of decal paper (transfer paper) is not allowed.
(7) The works should fit into a 60x60cm space. (The works must be at a height that does
not interfere with safety and taking photos.)
(8) Each work must be a single piece or a group of pieces (e.g., a set) based on a single
theme.
(9) If exhibiting with photos, please send one to three photos of the works with a quality of
1000 pixels or more.


Please note that the JPAC board members may decide whether or not to accept your entry
based on the above rules.
